Hey Gramps
Well yesterday was a year and a real bad for me. I couldn't bring myself to type you a note because the pain is still so fresh not that the day after makes it any better. I miss you more than words can say and there is NEVER a day that goes by that I don't think of you and remember so many great times. There isn't much to brag about these days but I am thankful.
I talk to Mom everyday and Nan often when she isn't in bed already. I wish I could still talk on the phone...

Hi Uncle Sam - I was google"ing" my mothers name and found your guest book. Everyone should have an Uncle Sam, not just an Uncle Sam, but a Uncle Sam like you. Hey, your family and mine are very lucky. We both had an Uncle Sam and a Grandfather Sam. I will be forever grateful for the person I became to be because of you.Everytime I see aunt Minnie, I cry because she looks like my Bubbe, I will never forget the day when I came to visit you in the hospital. I had to walk out of the room...

THERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS THE FEELING OF LOSS AT YOUR PASSING. YOUR FAMILY AND OURS HAD A VERY SPECIAL CLOSENESS. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT I WAS UNABLE TO GO TO BOSTON TO PAY MY RESPECTS.I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN HEAVEN-LOVE-DOREEN

Hi Zaddie, i miss you so much. i wish you were here. when i come to nana's house, it isnt the same, even though you're still in my heart. i remember all the good times we had together. and all the things you, me, and bubbie would do together when i would come down and visit. i miss helping you out all the time. it may have sounded like i thought of it as a burden, but i liked being useful and helpful to you. i knew that you weren't going to be around that long, so i wanted you to remeber me....

Hi Zaidie
I miss you so much. Remember all the times we went down the walk and the elevator to feed the ducks and ducklings. Remember when we would go to the pool and get out favorite snacks, sourcreme and onion chips with a soda. I remember all that and wish we can still do it. I have your special train watch and I keep it in a safe place only me and my mom know. I know you always liked to call me Mickey like Disney Mickey Mouse. I didn't mind that even though my nick name is Mikey. I...

For Our Uncle Sam:
What can we say about our Uncle Sam,,,an uncle who has always been a special part of our lives??
First, we want everyone to know that we were not only very fond of him, but also had a great deal of respect for him.
He appreciated even the slightest deed or favor and never, never forgot anything that anyone did for him.
The first time I met him was when he was courting Aunt Minnie. I was four years old, but insisted on helping to apply medication...
