Not sure what to say?

Thinking about you at this time of grief, George, Cathy and Debbie, sorry for your loss, remembering good times at Lakos Restaurant and at the comic book store. Our hearts go out to you. Sincerely, Carol (Kroeze) and Gary Beatty

My deepest sympathy to Cathy, Debbie and the entire Lakos family.

Tom, Becky and family, I have such great memories working at Lakos, back in the 80's. I take pride and honor that I was a small part of the Lakos tradition. Sam had a great impact on everyone who knew him and was highly respected. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Your friends always,
Ray and Karen Panozzo

Tom and Becky sorry to hear of your loss as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to lifes routine may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and freinds

We have lived next door to Mr. & Mrs. Lakos for the past 15 years. Over those years Sue & I have grown to know Sam & Dorothy to be one of the most caring neighbors to live next to. Mrs. Lakos, to you and your family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Sam was a very special person. Justin,Jake,Sue and I are very blessed to have known him and we will deeply miss him. Sincerely, The Sidock Family

My sympathies to the Lakos family. The WZZM crowd used to come to Lakos either before or after the Seaway Parade and for other events. It was a tradition to get a charcoal steak! Bill Steffen, meteorologist now with WOOD-TV

"Uncle Sam" was a frequent visitor at Tony's Restaurant, and the finest gentleman you could ever meet. He was a great man and restauranteur, and passed his considerable talent along to those who cared to learn. He leaves a lasting legacy in Muskegon that will never be replicated. My deepest sympathies to the entire Lakos family. Sincerely, Kathleen Rhoades "Kate" Muskegon Michigan

I am truly sorry to hear of Sam's passing. What a great man and fine gentleman. I was fortunate to work for him in his famous restaurant and will never forget his kindness and generosity. He had a big influence on my culinary career. Few can say they had a boss that they love but I loved Sam. Also, I would feel so priviledged when he would ask me to play golf with him at the Elks. I pray for comfort for all the Lakos and Pulos family members. A good life well lived.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.
