Sam Lauber and I worked in the same command in Schinnen, Netherlands from 1989-1993; he was the primary social worker for a geographically spread out U.S. military community. We jointly sought out Jewish worship places in The Netherlands and Belgium, and even formed an international congregation for a period at Schinnen. Our prayers for Ellen and Aaron and we will miss him greatly. He served outstandingly with us in the Air Force and Army. Our first meeting in Schinnen led to a long professional relationship through our assignments at Wright Patterson Medical Center. He was an extraordinary man whose "lived experience" from childhood to our time with him was a template for all to live by, always moving forward!!! We love you and will miss you greatly Sam! B. Wall
