I remember going with my dad to meet with Mr. Littlefield. He might be gone but not forgotten. Mr. Littlefield helped many miners including my dad to get his mining pension whom worked in the mining industry for over 40 years. Thanks Mr. Littlefield may you R.I.P.

I had just been in the mines 5 yr. Went on a few picket lines with Sam. sam Littefield would help you any way he could.He fought for umwa and the working man.I thing if Sam had not been murdered he would have been International President of UMWA today. Sam Littlefield And John L. Lewis are my heros.God bless both families

I worked in the UMWA office in the City Federal Bldg. I worked with Mr. Tom Crawford, Mr. W. Mitch, Lloyd Baker and Mr. Sam Littlefield. I was working there at the time of his death. May GOD bless all of you.
