I played basketball and baseball with Sammy. He was really good at both sports. He was a guard on our basketball team and a lefty pitcher on our 17-3 baseball team in high school. He was a great teammate and one of the leaders on both teams. Was a pleasure to play with him and know him. I remember him leading us on to victory.
