Sincerest sympathies to the whole Maclin family. We grew up across the street and spent many hours, meals & weekends at the Maclin home. Mr. Maclin was a friendly soul and as I recall, spent most of his leisure time gardening tomatoes or with his dog, Dudley, practicing bird retrieving. `Unca´ Sam was only 11 years older than I; and I looked forward to and treasured his visits to our Longview home in my preteen years.
