Not sure what to say?

Dear Miles and Les,
I am so sad to learn that Sam was killed. Please accept my condolences for having lost your beloved brother.
It is by chance that I learned of Sam's passing. A note from a cousin mentioning someone from our past sent me to my Steel-High yearbooks. I had not looked at them for at least 25 years, if then. After finding the picture of the person my cousin mentioned, I became lost in the past for hours, as I re-read all the written entries from friends so long ago. To...

To the Family of Sam Jr.:

At the time of Sam's passing, I did not have access to a computer to offer my condolences at his passing. I was glad to see his guest book is still on line. Sam and I graduated together from Steel-High. Although belatedly, please accept my condolences. I pray the special memories you have of Sam will continue to give you comfort. God bless and keep all of you.

To Mildred, Les and Miles,
I am "shocked" when perusing the Patriot News and discovering that the the"warm hearted", "humerous" and "caring individual that I got to know for a short period while standing on the corner and just conversing with Sam while living in Steelton,PA had passed on. How devastating. He will "always" and has been in my thoughts. He will always be in my prayers.

Sincerely, Louis P. Szollosy

The Maravich Family would like to thank all those individuals that communicated with us, after the death of our beloved son and brother, Samuel Maravich, Jr.

Your calls, visits, emails, cards, and personal words of sympathy were comforting in our time of great sorrow.

To all of those who contributed to his church, the Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, and to the Cottage Hill Field Project in Sam's memory, we are most appreciative.

The prayers for Sam and our...

Les & Family,

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Sam.
My heartfelt sympathy and thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was Sam's Military Supervisor, so I only knew him for a short period of time, but he made a very lasting impression on me. I enjoyed his spirit--he was always a pleasure to be around. Even though he is no longer with us, he will always be in our hearts. Our heart felt condolences to his family. We love you, Sam...

Extending my sincere sympathy to Mrs. Maravich, Les and Miles at the passing of their son and brother Sam. Sam was such a good man - when we worked together at Dauphin Deposit, he always had us laughing. He was a good friend to many. How tragic that he had to leave us this way. May his soul rest in peace - and may God bless Mrs. Maravich and her family. Jeannette Stroud Muza

I'm sorry for your family's loss. Sam was always a very friendly, humorous, and interesting person to talk with.

Tribute to Sam(A Loving Man):

Chapter 13
If I speak in human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.

And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.

If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is...
