Sam and I were boyhood friends and kept up our relationship for the past 65 years. We lost a good man and I will miss him.

"Anyone can "have a good day"...you have to "MAKE it a great day!"
Words cannot express my deep sympathy. Sam (Shmu, to me;-) will continue to live in the hearts not only of those he loved but also in the memory of those who were influenced by his thoughts and deeds.
May his memory be for a blessing.

We are very sad to learn of Sam's passing. Also, we did not know about his wife Audrey. We as members of the POC fraternity at the University of Bridgeport met for reunions several times after graduating. We no longer can sing with Sam: "In POC, in POC we Laugh, we dance, we sing". Rest in peace Sam, .. Elaine and Paul Hennion
