Not sure what to say?

Sam was a neighbor when I met him. He and Sue had three small children and I babysat a few times for them as I got older( and they did, too!).Their children were friends with my younger sisters. Sam and Sue were very good friends with my mother and dad( Art and Ann Slusher). I miss all of them.

Still missing he and his wife thanks for being a great inspiration for me

I have thought about you and your family so much since hearing the sad news of sams death.
He will be missed by so many who knew and loved him.
Sue, you are especially in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Cathy rogan knutson

My condolences.

Part of my childhood was impacted by our neighbors and family friends-Sue and Sam Mars. What wonderful memories were made by the friendship of the two families. Sam and Sue were support for our mother when our daddy died. Sue and family- I am so sad and mourn the loss of Sam and your dad. He was a wonderful role model to us (Slusher sisters). We will miss his smiling face and great hugs.

Life long friend. Sadly missed

I am so sorry to hear of Sam's "Mr. Mars" passing. He was one of my favorite people of my fathers friend. Better yet simply one of my favorite people!

Goodbye to a man I first knew as Santa Claus. He visited our house before Christmas for several years (Roy Shoffner held a deer head with a red blinking nose outside the window that was Rudolph) He was a good man who will be missed.
