Not sure what to say?

Dear Marx Family,
It's so hard to find the right words to express my sadness for your loss of Sam. I loved working with Sam and then Gretchen as second graders. They came with such love and encouragement that we wish all of our students could have. You can all feel confident that you made Sam's too-short life blessed, and such an inspiration to others. I hope you are comforted by all of your many friends and family, your memories, and the hope that you will meet again where there...

Dear Marx Family,
Sam was a gift to the world. He is so missed. Your a close, strong family, all amazing individuals. Anyone that met him knew he was an extraordinary individual. He was brilliant, talented, and just a virtuous, upstanding guy. It was transparent in his actions and relationships. He was highly regarded by many but remained humble and sparked an inspiration in others. I'm so happy he was in my life. I've learned so much from him over the last few years. His...

Maggie,
I was so sorry to hear of Sam's death. The loss of a child is truly something no parent should have to go through. I lost my son after only three short months of life. You had so much more with Sam. But it is these years your family have had that will come to help you through the grief. Believe me it will happen, though it may not feel like that now. My family and I extend our prayers to your family .
God Bless from your former office mate (SLP at Ellsworth)

Maggie,
I am so sorry for the loss of Sam, what an amazing boy you raised. I was out of town, Wisconsin, when Sam passed. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
Mary Stell

To the Marx Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Sam. He was such a neat young man and I admired his courage as he fought his battle. Sam and my son (Tie Eisiminger) were in the same class at EHS and I remember Sam's wonderful graduation speech. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Becky Eisiminger

I had Sam in German class for three years at EHS. In my experience brillant students are not always patient nor kind with their slower classmates.Sam stood out.He would explain things in a wonderfully simple way that showed such respect for others.
He will not be forgotten.

Dear Marx Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sam was without a doubt the best person I ever knew. He always had a smile on his face every time I saw him. I got the pleasure of meeting him when I was a teacher's assistant for the cross country coach at Evergreen. Sam was in the class that I TA'd for. By the end of the year Sam had decided he would join cross country in the fall. He was a great teammate, and a great friend. I enjoyed running with him because he never...

It was such an honor to be one of Sam's teahers. Sam touched us all by his actions, love and caring spirit. His memory and legacy will continue on at EHS. Not a day will pass that I will not think of Sam and the impact he made on so many lives. I will be forever thankful for Sam.

Dear Jerry, Margie and Kids.

I'm so sorry I could not be there for Sam's celebration of life. Bill said it was incredible and such a touching tribute to his life, and the strength you all found to honor his memory was unbelievable to witness. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. As a mother myself I can imagine what pride you must have at the outpouring of love that came from near and far and the impact that Sam left on everyone who was present.

May...
