This is way way over due .. me and sam were not by any means "close" but he always made sure i had a dance parter at the school dance . Classy ,sweet guy. I did not know he passed til years later . Am a mother now and couldnt imagine losing a son esp one that was so kind . Again am so sorry this is late ...but he def was a special guy .

Though we may come into contact with hundreds, perhaps thousands of individuals in our lifetime, there is always that "handful" of special people whose lives and work effect us more deeply than others. Their impact in our lives is measured not by memories, but by our ongoing effort to be a "little more like them" in what we pursue. In the lives of countless friends Sam's human legacy will remain as rich as ever!

To the Maugeri family and friends,

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Sam in 7th grade and played football with him in High School. It was great to share six years of football brotherhood with Sam. Everyone loved him. He was a great man and friend. The world will miss him greatly and I will always remember him as the man who would not give up. In deepest sympathys.

Although I only met Sammy twice, it was easy to see that he was an extraordinary young man. His bright smile and kind heart were a reflection of his loving family.
