John, Sandi and family, As well as I knew most of the Mehring family, I can't believe I didn't know Sam. I just want you all to know that you are in my prayers and I do think of you guys often and all of the fun we had.

Dear Anne and Family,
I was just shocked and so saddened to hear of Sam's death. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time. Just always loved seeing you both and visiting.
When I was 13 I was in a bad bad bike accident and Sam was one of the people that was on the ambulance, he was just so kind and he came to see me in the hospital and he brought me the cutest kissing dolls.
He will be missed by everyone, he had such a warm heart.
