Sam was a tireless volunteer for Munson Medical Center. He took on the leadership of the Volunteers organization with enthusiasm and did a wonderful job. Sam was as fine a volunteer leader as any I have known in my 39 year career in hospital administration. I will never forget the wonderful sendoff Sam and his colleagues organized in my behalf as I approached retirement.
Munson has lost a dear friend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sam Milligan for the first time in October of 2006. I will remember Sam as a very kind, gentle, and caring person -- he was a true gentleman.

I knew Sam just a short time (2 years). I worked with him through the fair with the bingo sponsored by the Munson Medical Center Volunteers. I am also an employee at Munson, so I saw him frequently. He was a great guy and I really enjoyed seeing him at work at Munson and during fair week. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
