Samuel A. Montello M.D.

I am writing my memoir and took the chance to look for Dr. Montello which brought me to this lovely photograph and obituary of him. In 1957, I was a nursing student at KU, married, and chose Dr. Montello to be my obstetrician when I was pregnant. I had observed the physicians in my clinical experience and picked him out as the one I liked the most. Dr. Sam and Mary Montello provided our church family with such energy, inspiration and enthusiasm! What a treat to have their friendship -- and always their help whenever needed.

My sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Montello. He delivered my daughter in 1973 and then I worked at KCWC 1979-2004. He was a good boss.
