Connie and Mary Ruth, I was sad to hear the news from my mother who called me here in Texas this past morning. I can only smile when I think back (now 30 years) to my first time working with Carlisle as a delivery person at his shop. I think it is safe to say that FrankK and I set the record for doing the least amount of work and Carlisle reminded us of that fact as often as he could. He would tell us to quit hiding in the flower cooler in the midst of a hot summer day and then remind us...

To know Carlisle, was to laugh with Carlisle. His honesty in his humor will not be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am sad to hear that Carlisle has passed. I remember his jolly manner and positive attitude as a child at Corleto's Florist and his friendship with my grandmother.

I enjoyed delivering flowers for Carlisle during my years at Maury. He had a great outlook on life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
