Not sure what to say?

Coach Morton was my tennis coach at MacArthur HS and took an interest in teaching me tennis. He was the greatest coach and would enter me in different tennis leagues especially on the weekends. I admired him so deeply. My family moved away and didn´t get to play for him anymore. I was crushed. A great man! Everyone loved him so much and I will always have great memories of him.

Barbra,
You and your family are in my prayers, my sympathy go out to you and your family during this difficult time. May God watch over you and your family.

Felicia

Coach Mortion was one of my favorite teachers at MacArthur in the late 70's. Math did not come easy to me and he made it fun but he was firm. He will be very much missed.

Netria,

“To every thing there is a season… and a time to every purpose under heaven." May you find comfort in knowing that caring thoughts and deepest sympathy are with you. In ways big and small, your Dad’s life changed our world and left it a better place, and touched too many hearts to ever be forgotten. May you find comfort in knowing how many people share your sadness.

You're in my thoughts, prayers...and in my heart. Thinking of You

Someone that was trust worthy and set an example for those around him in the church, community and school

Some of my fondest memories growing up were the times I spent with Coach Morton and my teamates on the the MacArthur High School Tennis Team (1978-1982). Coach Morton was a man of great integrity who served as a tremendous mentor for thousands of young men and women throughout his illustrious career as both a teacher and coach. Those students and athletes who had the good fortune of having Coach Morton touch their lives will be forever grateful for instilling his tremendous passion for...

Coach Morton was more than just a coach to us that he taught. For many of us in the early 70's the Mac Arthur tennis courts was where we hung out in the summer months and Coach was there giving free lessons and intoducing tennis to many many kids. A lot of what he taught was not just about tennis but it was about being a good person, a better person. He taught us that we received nothing without hard work, and he DID work us hard.
The one lesson he taught me (after he caught this 16yr old...

Mr. Morton, was a great teacher. I attended one of his classes at J O Davis. I would like to send my condolences to the family.

I was just a math student of Coach Morton, but he was an extremely bright and funny man that made learning fun
