Samuel Peter Oddo passed into his eternal rest on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Gennaro Oddo; father of Shawn Peter Oddo (Lindsey) and Kristin Oddo Mahoney (Andrew Sr.); grandfather of Andrew James Mahoney Jr.; and brother of Robert Nicholas Oddo (Lillian) and Geralyn Oddo Martinolich (Lester). He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rosemary Cartazzo Gennaro, as well as many aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Santo and Marie Tusa Oddo. S. Peter owned and operated Majestic Interior Specialties, Inc. since 1973. He was in the first graduating class of 1966 at Archbishop Rummel High School, and presided as alumni president for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 3:00PM.
