You don´t know me and im not even from your state, but this has ripped my heart out. Not that your family member has passed as he is now safe with the Lord, but that he had to suffer so in this world. May God be with your whole family. I can´t even imagine the depths of your pain.

Much love to you, Dave, Becky, Hannah, and Michael. My heart aches to know of your suffering and of Sam's. I hope you feel wrapped in the arms of the Savior and of those that know and love you and who knew and loved Sam and his sweet boy.

Love you Sam. I´ll miss you till the day I see you again. - your back packing partner, Jon Cook
