SAMUEL RICHARD PETRY II

I worked with Dick in the Law Dept. at Eaton Corp. Dick's knowledge of international law was astounding. He managed legal issues in Europe, India, Asia, Mexico and Brazil. He was in the office early, and stayed late, in order to talk with clients in distant time zones. He was a charter member of The Greater Cleveland International Lawyers Group, which met monthly for many years.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I enjoyed many an interesting and funny conversation with Dick at BACC lunches over the last few years. My condolences to the Petry family--he will be deeply missed.

Our deepest sympathy to Colin and family. Dick was a neighbor for several years and we are truly saddened by the news. He was a kind and lovely man. We know he will be missed by many.

Though I only got to know him once he was retired, I found Dick to be a highly focused and responsible professional in his work with the BACC, as well as just a great guy. I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Petry, but his son is the most dedicated and loving son I've ever met. What an incredible person Mr. Petry must have been to raise a son like that.

Dick was a kind and considerate man, and a wonderful brother-in-law.i have many fond memories of him throughout the years. I think he and Mom will have a beautiful garden in heaven. I'm sure she's waiting for him. My condolences to Colin, Lindsey and Vondell. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Love you Priscilla and Jim Derry.
