"To know me is to love me." - That sentiment was certainly true of Sam. Although we deeply mourn his passing, we celebrate his life of love, knowing the world was sweeter because he was in it. We'll forever cherish him in our hearts and memories.

I just found this. I´ve been trying to find Sam. I wasn´t aware he had passed. We met when I knocked on his door, a few years ago, as the apricot tree was heavy with fruit. We talked, he was generous and we struck up a friendship. I would cook an occasional meal for him and we´d sit at his picnic table and laugh and talk or in bad weather go to the farm supply store to get dog food. Sam was always very gracious and welcoming to our visits. He loved to go out and eat at his favorite diner and Mexican restaurant. We will miss you.

I always enjoyed picking up Sam to go eat at his favorite restaurant. He loved the chicken fried steak!! Rest In Peace, dear nephew!!
