I was shocked to hear from Freda that Sam had suddenly passed away. I will always remember his smiling face and hundreds of emails. His friends from the Metropolitan Yacht Club will surely miss him.

I knew Sam for over 40 years. He was always a hard working individual and devoted family man. My sympathy to Freda and her family.

I knew Sam almost three years at temple bingo where we volunteered together. To me, Sam was a person who always wanted to help others, he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
