MY SISTER AND I WERE VERY SADDEND TO HER OF BRO. RIVERS PASSING OUR SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY. BRO. RIVERS MADE IT HIS BUSINESS TO SING AT MY SISTER'S MOTHER-IN-LAWS FUNERAL(FLORA HAYNES)HE DIDN'T KNOW THE MEANING OF THE WORD NO. I KNOW HE IS DEFINETLY SINGING IN HEAVEN NOW.

We were shocked and saddened by Sam's passing! He was a wonderful person and a good friend. We extend our sincere thoughts and prayers to the family.

Words can not express the devastation of Deacon Rivers passing on 07/22/2013. I will always be eternally grateful for his kindness towards me and his playful jokes. I am honored to have had the opportunity to know Deacon Rivers, would not hesitated to give a helping hand when ever and wherever needed. I know Sam's journey to live with our father was smooth but he will be so missed here on earth. This remarkable man was a great father, fabulous citizen and good steward for God's word. May he rest in peace.
