Very sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I worked for him in the mid to late 90's at Walter Frazier Land Surveying.

I often would razz him about his center-left political views and almost always he'd find some humor in it. He definitely had a dry sense of humor, which would usually bring on a silly comment.

I was glad to know and work for him.
A decent man he was.
My condolences to his family.

What an amazing man, Rube was. He was a Long time Mayor of his beloved City of Adrian. He and Pat were longtime friends of ours since 1981. Sam was an honest and sincere Family Man. He was one of a kind and will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace, our good friend.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

We (collectively) will surely miss Sam's jokes and stories at our monthly meetings! Pat, I am thinking about you and your family, and hoping that memories will bring you peace. I never got to be with Rubal but he being my First Cousin I loved him just the same! I do remember play with him and Horald in Alabama before they moved north. May God bless his family till we meet in Heaven.
