With sincere thanks for the military service of Mr. Samuel Sandoval, a man who contributed greatly to the protection and success of our magnificent country in time of war. His selfless dedication as a Navajo Code Talker helped perpetuate freedom to many deserving nations.

You will be remembered as being a hero to many Native Americans.

I was a post war baby. I has been later in life that I learned to love the history of the Code Talkers. What a service they provided our nation.
Rest well thou good and faithful servant.

I was saddened to hear of your husband´s and father´s death. I was born in 1948 and grew up hearing stories of WWII. It is only recently that I have learned of his honorable and brave service he gave to our country. This generation cannot imagine what he endured during that time. My most humble thanks and gratitude to him and his fellow Windtalkers. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My condolences and prayers to Mr. Sandoval's family. My Granddaddy was a Marine Veteran. I am so proud of my Granddaddy being a Marine. The Lord Is My Shepherd. Thank you to Mr. Sandoval for his service to the Marines and the United States.

Paved the way for Native Americans in the service.
