Not sure what to say?

Lisa,

I'm so sorry that I did not hear of Parky's passing until my advisor at Merrill Lynch told me long after Parky was gone. I tried to reach you by phone but was unable. If you get this message, please call me at 1-508-226-0283.

Dear Lisa,

Very sorry to just learn of Parky's passing.

We worked together on Frank McNamara's campaign in the early 80's. I was fortunate to be among the third he knew and liked! He was inimitable, funny, and always a source of good advice. I'll have a Mass said for him at the St. John Neumann Shrine here in Philadelphia.

Please extend my condolences to Sam and Mrs. Shaw.

Burger (as Parky called me)

I'm sorry for your loss. Was Mr. Shaw related to Thomas Mott Shaw? My name is Philip Faversham and TM SHaw was my great grandfather.

Dear Lisa and Sam,
I just got to know of Parky's having passed away. I am really very very sorry to learn of this. My deepest condolences.

Just today, June 29, Lisa sent email advising of the passing of dear Parky which we were not aware of beforehand, as we live in England, Thank you Lisa and our heartfelt sympathy to you and "young" Sam at your loss, is extended. Only this April after an iPad was given to me on my 70th birthday, I facetimed Parky which was a joy to see him!! He was so positive.....when we both put the world to right! We first met Parky in Tunisia in 1968 and then we were Ushers at the wedding of our still...

Lisa, and Sam who I remember as a young boy Bones,
I have thought of Parky and you two many times. I have been traveling for the last three weeks, and for some unknown reason, upon my return to Maine, I went online looking for the whereabouts of Parky's mother with whom I served on the board at College of the Atlantic and felt close to. Then I got curious about you all.
Devastated, now.
I loved Parky's brilliance, candor and wit.
For whatever it might be worth in some...

Dear Lisa and Sam,

We are deeply saddened by your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sincerely,
Charles, Linda, and Harrison Pao

I had to go before the Architectural Commission (ca 1980) for approval of storm windows. Parky started to tell me the size restrictions/rules and I held up my little sample. He said with a smile, "Susan, you've done your homework" and approved the windows. He was a wonderful character then and I'd guess he just became a more wonderful character with age.

Who knew parky, knew he was a person of details, he even wrote his obituary which had no more than 10 lines
