Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to hear of the death of Dr. Shout. I was a student at Azalea Road Jr. High and W. P. Davidson High School when he was principal. I remember him as a kind and dedicated administrator who cared about our school and its students. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

I was one of the students who went through both Azalea Road and W P Davidson with Sam Shout as Principal. He was loved and respected by all the staff and students. My prayers go out to his wife and family in their time grief. May God grant them peace.

I first met Dr. Shout in 1960. He was the principal of Azalea Road Jr. High. He was always very professional and very likable. I'm sure he will be missed greatly by his family and friends. I thank him for his service to our country and his career. I pray for his family to have peace in their hearts. It was sad to read that Pam had died. I knew her from school.

Dr. Shout was a great Principal and man, a great example to the rest of us here. I am praying for God's peace and presence to be with the family at this time.
