Samuel J. Simmons

Dr. Simmons was our family doctor for forty years. He was a wonderful physician and a friend. I was so sad to learn of his passing. My late husband, John, always joked with him and cared for him,too. He took wonderful care of both of us. We have truly missed him and always will. Gwen, you took wonderful care of him and I know you will miss him greatly. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and most of all, Dr. Simmons. Carla Mhoon

Sam was a colleague, friend and great supporter when needed. He was an independent thinker. He was also a very good physician whom I respected. He will be missed both for his unusual personality and his medical contributions to the Pascagoula community. It is sad to see him leave us.

Sam was a special longtime friend who I met through bicycling. We shared countless bicycling rode trips where we shared laughter & good times. I will miss you!
