I have not seen or spoken to Sam(and you - Ella) in several years. However, the love that we all shared for tennis and enjoying life are things that keep friendships alive despite time. You and Sam enjoyed a lot together those memories will help a lot in softening Sam's lost.

I will always remember sam, the friendly crossing guard at central ave & grove street as we walked to lincoln school. later working with him at the board of education. he was a great man, so gentle and caring.His smile and pleasant personality was always present. He would do anything to help his fellowman. He loved his tennis too.
He will be missed. I am glad that he touched my life. I think that i am a better person because of sam

I haven't seen Mr. Simpson in many years, but I'll always remember the god times he shared with my parents Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Sturdivant, Sr. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
