Not sure what to say?

Time spent in Sam's company was never dull. Good memories of working at Starlight and Mukwonago, and visiting with Muriel and Sam in Silver Spring.

Lori
You probably don't remember me but i worked on CBB one summer in the'70's and made your comfort zone "difficult" in the Arts & craft Dep. I visited CBB on 3 occassions and remember your late Father Sam Z'L. with much affection,
I learned of his passing from Sidney Clearfield via my involvement with BBYO
and I wanted to pass on my regards . Your Father was a great man who helped create a haven where young Jewish people's lives were changed for the better. B'H

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of a such a giving person. While working at Camp B'nai Brith for several summer I had contact with Sam daily. I still have fond memories of those summers. Sam and Muriel were two very special people. My condolences to the entire Skolnick family.

Skolnick Family
I was saddened about hearing about Sam's passing. I've known him since about 1957, or whemever his first year at Tamarack was, and worked closely with him, in various capacities at Tamarack, until his departure for B'nai Brith.
He was a good mentor and a good friend. My most recent job took me to Baltimore a few times a year, and Sam, Sheldon, and Al(before he passed) always met for dinner. I last spoke with him a few months ago, and will miss our occasional...

Brett, Lynn and Lori,
After all these years, my memories of Sam standing on the steps of "Sam's Porch" are still strong. He knew our parents by their first names, hugged us on the first and last day, and let us stay "after camp"if we asked him nicely. When we were trouble, he let us know it, but let it go and let us come back, summer after summer. For me, CBB was every summer of my childhood, from age 7 on.
I'm very sad for you. He was an amazing father figure for so many of...

Dear Lori, Lynn and Brett,
We were sorry to learn about Sam. Our family has wonderful memories of Sam and camp that we share often with the many friends we made there. Sam was the heart and soul of that special place.Take solace in that for decades to come,as people think fondly back to their camp days, they will remember the larger than life presence and special brand of humor that defined Sam.

I worked along side of Sam at Mobile Med for many years. He became one of my favorite people as the years went on. We especially liked telling one another stories of our grandchildren. I know you have many memories of you father and grandfather. My condolences for your loss.

To Lynn,Lori and Brett,

I'm very sad to learn of Sam's passing. His memory is attached to some of the happiest times of my life. I'm glad he was there at the Starlight reunion several summers ago.

I didn't really know Sam in a personal way; I was only in camp for six short summers until I was 17, so we did not have an adult relationship. However, B'nai B'rith was his place, and its draw was obviously a reflection of Sam's efforts and personality. Following my joyful...

Lori, thank you for calling to let us know about Sam. You know how much we cared for him and what a great friend he was and we are saddened by the loss of such a good man. Our hearts go out to you and Lynn and Brett and your families.
Sam will always hold a special place in our hearts. I hope he had some idea of how influential he was and how much he contributed to our growth as a family. We have so many happy memories and there are so many things that remind us of him. We have missed...
