Not sure what to say?

This message is to Sam. Dear friend, you would not believe how often we talk of you and your many exploits! You were a wonderful neighbor and if being remembered in your old neighborhood gives you comfort that your spirit lives on - believe me, it does.

I met Smyth not Smith in the early 80s when I was a facilities electrician. He was the big boss and he always took time to stop by me in his cart to see what we were up to and if we needed any help. He would ask about my family and make sure everything was okay. This was a big deal as we mostly tried to avoid the bosses at work but not Smyth, we had a lot of respect for him and his position. A lot of the reasons I went into management myself was because of men like him who reached out to the...

All three brothers are now gone. Sam was the youngest. Sam did bring many of us together in life and death. Nothing like the Beaver Lake crew and the Country Cousins getting together. Much love and laughs.

Although I did not see him often, I cherished the good times I'd had with Sam, starting when I was a little kid and he would ride my brother and me around his folks' place in Kent in his Model T (or whatever it was) rumble seat. I also remember at least one July 4th fireworks show he and his brothers put on. And, of course, the trips with Dad to visit the two of you on Camano. Dad cherished those trips and others when I was not present. He raved about Barbara's cooking, Sam's craftsmanship...

Thank you everyone for all your kind and wonderful words. My family, wife Julie, and sons Cody and Tyler are going to miss the stories my father would share on our visit's. That man could tell a story. I miss our many conversations, and all the advise he shared that I never listened too. I know he's in a better place now, doing all the things he lost the abilities to do his last year. He's once again is with his brother Gordon. Thank you Barb for the great care you took of Sam over the many...

My sincerest condolences to all of Sam's family members. I'm sorry that I was unable to attend the memorial but was able to visit with Sam and Barbara earlier this year. Sam was a wonderful soul. Spirited, kind, humorous and generous are just a few traits that come to mind. Growing up with his mother Florence holds a special place in my heart. Santa Sam ever the goofball made the family Christmas gatherings so special. Sam, you're entertaining all of the angels.

May God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
With deepest Sympathy, Jerry and Shari Jones Billings, Montana

We will always have fond memories of Sam on trips to Montana with Barb. He was so interesting to listen to and always had a glimmer in his eye. His getting the cork out of the bottle trick was the best! Grandpa Johnny got the biggest kick out of Sam...I'm sure they are back together again!! Barb and family are in our thoughts.

We are sorry to not be able to come up for the service, Barb. We miss you both and will miss Sam dearly. We are so glad we were able to see both of you together this summer for a visit.
Our hearts are with you.
