Dear Ann and family, I am proud to have known Sam as a fellow church member plus an instructor to my son, Mark, who completed ROTC at Tate High School (and went on to serve 21 years in the Air Force, retiring as Master Sergeant). Thank you, Sam, for influencing my son.

Sorry to hear of MSG Tabb's passing. He was a great mentor of young people and a fine teacher. He and my dad worked together at Tate for a long time and my dad thought a lot of him as well. His influence on generations of students and soldiers are his legacy. RIP.
