Dear Jane and Family,
Sam and I were roommates for 4 years at IU. We were the "gunners" in the Phi Psi house. We walked to German class at 7:30 am 5 days per week and went to the library when the business majors went to the movies. I got lucky when he moved to Millington, right outside of Memphis, where I live. I loved Sam like the brother I never had. He was a wonderful intelligent human being with a sense of humor and a gentle touch.
