"Rest in Peace"....a servant, whose work for God and mankind, "well-done." Pat M. Jackson..Pittsburg,CA

To the Turner Family:
God is and shall be your constant help in times of trouble!
Right now in great sadness we say goodbye to Sam, but God is already providing healing for our hearts as we remember his life and legacy.

Rest in Peace, my dear friend and classmate!

Lelia, we are keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Love,
Your classmate, Marcia Glover-Marks

Sam was a great friend and leader. I enjoyed his friendship at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He was a die hard "RAZORBACK FAN". I am saddened and shocked at his passing. Sam will be missed by all that knew him. Your friends and family thought the world of you. God decided to call you!!! Rest in Peace Sam!!!!

Rest In Love My Dear Friend

Sam was a great guy. We were in band together back in West Memphis. So sorry I only kept up with him on FB over the past few years. He will be missed for years to come. My prayers are with his family during this time.

I am so sorry, Susan...Sam was such a good man. We were friends from about 1975 on...ever since we started in the WMHS Band together in the 10th grade. Sam was always good for a shyly given hug or two, and later on, when we reconnected on FB, for sage wisdom, both political and not. He loved football - I could tell by how he rooted on his teams!! I miss him so, already, and it's only been a few days. I can't imagine how you are holding up...cling to your memories, as all of us will cling...
