Not sure what to say?

Dear Ulrich Family, I just heard that Dr. Ulrich went to be with the Lord. I am sure he will be busy there as he was all through his life! He was our family doctor through the 50's and 60's during which time he provided the occasional counseling as well as medical attention. He stitched up the slash above my eye when I was about 8 years old and diagnosed my case of sun poisoning when I wore my first two-piece bathing suit. He had the best aquarium in his waiting room which helped pass...

Living now in Alaska, I may be the farthest away patient that Dr. Ulrich every took care of. As a child growing up in Paxtang, I still remember going to see him on Derry Street. I am part of the Miller family (see Ann Snoddy below) and I know he was highly regarding by all of us. Like others have said, they just don't make doctors like that anymore. My sympathies to the family. You were blessed to know and love such a wonderful man.

To the Ulrich Family,
I only met Dr. Ulirich and his wife once with Andrea a couple of months ago. I was so taken how loving they were with each other, it was so sweet. I'm so glad they got to spend his last days together.
I look forwarding to visting more with Mrs. Ulrich.

To the Ulrich family,
I grew up in Paxtang and Dr. Sam was the best that anybody could ask for. He took excellent care of us at home, at school, and in his snug little office. I have thought of him and all of you often and wondered why the old place on Derry St. has looked so lonely for so long. Surely God has the best physician on his staff now to care for all of his old Paxtang patients. Dr. Sam will be missed and always remembered by me and my family. They just don't make 'em like...

To the Ulrich family,
I worked with Dr. Ulrich at the Bureau of Diability Determination. I will never forget his home made motorized bike, his care and concern for others, and his sense of humor. When he closed his practice in Paxtang, I was sent to help him fill out his application to work with us. It was not a pleasant experience for either one of us, but we went on to become friends after he adjusted to "retirement" from patient care. My father graduated from Jefferson 2 years ahead of...

I grew up in Paxtang. Sam took excellent care of my parents, Bill and Caroline Miller. He was a wonderful man, and shall be sadly missed by all. Ann Miller Snoddy

Lyn,
I have many fond memories of Sam. A great person. Remembering the curling, the "outfits" and his great personality. No one else sings hymns while hitting a golf ball.
Take care,
Bev Sponaugle

Paxtang is where I am from and Dr. Ulrich was my doctor and he also saw my first daughter when she was born in 1974. When we moved to Penbrook I remember him coming to see me because I was sick, truly he thought of others first. He was a good doctor and a nice man. My mom, Jeanne Briar often talked about Dr Ulrich and how she admired him. He was blessed to have a nice wife and children. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
