Not sure what to say?

The Best heard Dr. I ever had!!!!

You kept my dad alive heart wise for along time ... like ten years ... he loved his apts with you .. talkin about Boise State and the Browns ... and then cancer came for him and you still fought for him even though it had nothin to do with his heart ... you were the real deal Sam .. wish we knew how bad you were hurtin ... ill never forget you bud ... you were the real deal

I was one year behind Sam at Falls Church High School, University of Virginia and Medical College of Virginia, and so following his example helped me to overcome obstacles in my path. I was saddened to learn of his passing. Reading the testimony of his patients here inspires me to rededicate myself to patient care and keep his legacy and memory alive.

Dr.Ward will be greatly missed. He was a great doctor

Dr. Ward was the best. I went thru a lot of heart doctors in my life time. He was the most down to earth guy who seemed to just understand me dealing /w having a heart problem all my life and my limitations. I am honored to have met him and had him as my doctor since moving to Erie, PA from Tucson, Arizona in July 2006.
Being almost the same age we got along great. I could talk to him about anything. So saddened by his passing, it just makes no since. My sympathies to his family and...

I just learned of Dr. Ward's passing this morning when I called to schedule my annual follow up exam in March. I'm sorry and shocked. He saved my life six years ago this month. He always encouraged me to remind active and allowed me to continue to be a wildland firefighter and a alpine ski instrucor. We shared a love of the outdoors, snowmobiling, and photography. He could really relate to you and you could tell he truly cared about you. I will miss my annual visits with him. May God bless...

Just learned of Dr. Wards
Death and we both are saddened. We trusted him with our hearts and remember his special and caring manner.Truly an exceptional and caring human being. Our prayers for his family.

I recieved a letter today about his passing. Dr. Ward was my Mom's cardiologist. He was a wonderful doctor and was really great with elderly people. I had a lot of respect for him.

I received a letter today that told me of Dr. Wards passing last December. I'm a patient of his and will be forever grateful to him as my doctor who gave me a new lease on life in 2011. I would look forward to my annual follow-up visits with him in Erie, despite the "drive". We would discuss my status of course. Then chat about the bike riding in Chautauqua County. I was privileged to be one of his patients. He was a very special person. My sincere condolences to his family.
