Not sure what to say?

I want to express my deepest sympathy for the Wright & Vinson family. Bro. Wright was a huge part of my years growing up in Lamont. I will forever remember his smile, his laugh, & our trips to Bob's Big Boy after Sunday night services. LOL..to this day, I still remember him requesting to leave the 'cat slobbers' off of his hot fudge cake (whip cream). Bro. Wright was always an attentive & loving man, and I know how much my father & mother (Gary & Lavena Barnett) adored Sam & Virginia. Bro....

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Im sorry for yourloss but oh Heaven's gain. God Bless you and yours.

Dear Wendell and Lynda, Just read in the paper today about the Homegoing of your dad. We loved Sam--loved his personality and the "giving" nature of everything he put his hand to. Along with Sam Cochran, we thought of him as "Mr. Light-for-the-Lost." Heaven is richer--perhaps the aroma of Blackie Harris beef is wafting through the eternal realms even now. God bless you and your whole family. Love, Larry and Jean

I remember "Jen's grandpa" taking us to In & Out when we were in school at Vanguard. He always wanted to feed us. He was such a sweet, loving person. He always made me feel welcome as Jen's tag along. As he is with Our Father and healthy again, I pray your grief is short and comforted. Love all of you!

Dear Lynda, Pastor Wendell & family,
We are sorry for your loss, but rejoice with you at the homegoing of your Dad. We trust the Lord will comfort you and give you peace.
With Christian love,
Greg & Melanie Yates

I knew sam as a high school student at Brawely High School. He was a couple of years ahead of me. My father was H.A. Wallace, pastor of Brawley AG church. Sam was also a pretty good athlete, and was an aggressive basketball player. He was a good guy, and his success is no surprise to me.
