I loved going over to the store. Sammy always had a smile and told me lots of jokes. I'd come home from the store laughing and my mother would joyfully inquire, "Now what's Sammy telling you"? As a child, a Sunday wasn't a Sunday without a stop at Zachary's to gather everything for my grandmother's Sunday dinner. Such wonderful memories. Sam will be missed.
