Not sure what to say?

Funny how some people touch our lives forever, even if we don't really get to know them well. In my early teens, I had a Chronicle paper route from 1982-1984 and Sam was the one customer of mine I remembered - not just for his unusual last name but for his genuine warmth and smile. Not sure why I was thinking about him just now, but Google'd his name and saw this. With just our small interactions once a month, I knew there was something unique and wonderful about him. We miss you, Sam! So glad we got to see you. Marilyn and Steve

We donated to Sam's Pennsylvania art museum, The James A Michener Art Museum in Doylestown. Our beloved Sam/Uncle Sam will never be forgotten.

On behalf of everyone at Spiazzo Ristorante a heartfelt hug from all of us during this time. We have the fondest memories of Sam as his spirit was the sweetest ever~ From the bottom of my heart and the Spiazzo family. Michelle

I remember when Mr. Zanze opened his shop so many years ago and my mother's friends could talk of nothing else but "that nice young man and his delicious cheesecake." My condolences to his family on the loss of a true gentleman.

Sorry to hear about Sam.... Prayers are with you all... Barbara and Roger Zanze( Bill and Joyce´s son and daughter in law)

To the family and friends and customers of Mr. Zanze : He was so kind to us in the neighborhood and was beloved in his community. Prayers and may he rest in peace. Glad his delicious cheesecake will live on and we will remember him. With deepest sympathy, M Rey DDS ( neighborhood)

Mr. Zanze was a wonderful, gentle man. I loved going to his store to pick up cheesecakes for my kids´ birthdays despite the long lines at times. He said he felt like a "rockstar" as his popularity grew. Our sympathy to the Zanze family.

Sam was a lovely, thoughtful, caring guy. RIP.
