Not sure what to say?

Sam, what a wonderful man. You always were the one to open your home to me when I came to visit in San Diego. You were the one to keep a watchful eye on my daughter Tonya for me. You were her guiding light. I will never be able to thank you enough for your generosity both to me and to Tonya. I always looked forward to spending time with you. I am sad to think that oppertunity to spend more time together has now passed. You were a wonderful friend and you will be missed by all who knew...

Love and Light

Sam, Although it's been many years, you are still that man that helped me open a checking account, get a loan for my first car, and supported my independence. Always generous, always full of good advice, and unwavering faith that I could achieve anything I set my mind to. I am sorry that you and I could not reconnect in time for you to see that you helped me grow up into a happy and successful person. A person who might otherwise have no direction if it weren't for the guidance I got during...

My darling Sammy, life will never be as full without you. Thank you so much for our years together when we were young and thank you even more for the last few years together. I'll always love you.

Dearest Boo Boo-I just learned today that you had passed. I am so sorry you are gone too soon. To your son Samuel,my sincere sympathy. Your father was a man of great intellect and enormous wit, and frequently all the charm in the world. I regret he will not be around for you to know him as an adult. That would have made him very happy.

Although we only met once, we were "email buddies" for the past several years. Dear Cousin Sam, I will miss your political savvy, your compassion and humanity, and of course, your wry sense of humor.
God Love You.

Wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all that you did for me and my father (Stanley Eiter) over the course of the years. The time we spent in your presence will always bring a smile to my face. Your service to your country does not go unrecognized...rest in peace Sammy!

Rest in Peace, dear man. Even though I was two years ahead of you at Crawford, it is imperative that I thank you for your dedicated service and Last Full Measure of Devotion.
A fellow Crawford Alum.

Thank you for all you did, Sam. I know that you are somewhere in The Wild Blue Yonder.

I am so sorry to see such a great guy leave so soon. Sam and I have crossed paths many times throughout the years. 'we both flew out of Gillespie, then again at PSA and US Airways. I guess our next meeting will be in the "sky" once again. See you in a while, Sam!
