I met Dr. Sandra briefly during my first NARST conference in Dallas, Texas and I went with her and her students for dinner. It was a brief moment shared with fellow educators and students (like myself) but it made a deep impression and I still remember her every time I think of science education initiatives. I will be praying for her and for her family.
