Sandra Yvonne Duncan Aguilar, 68, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2016 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System surrounded by family.

She was born on July 17, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to Jim Lavon Duncan and Margaret Rachel Galindo Duncan. Sandra was married to Federico ""Fred"" Aguilar, Jr. on Feb. 18, 1966 in San Antonio.

She was the member of the Iglesia Bautista ""Monte Sion"" (Monte Zion Spanish Baptist Church) under Pastor Federico Aguilar, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Lavon Duncan and Margaret Rachel Galindo Duncan.

She is survived by her husband, Federico ""Fred"" Aguilar, Jr.; children, James Gregory Aguilar, Caroline Marie Aguilar and Stephen Daniel Aguilar; grandchildren, Rebekah M. Lewis, Glenn E Perriraz, Andrea D. Aguilar, Stephen D. Aguilar, Jr., Marsha D. Aguilar, Vashty Aguilar, Erika D. Aguilar, Stefanie D. Saldaña; Victoria D. Aguilar, Adrian N. Perez, Benjamin I. Perez, Charles D. Perez and David A. Perez; great-granddaughter: Nalani Abigail Lewis; siblings, Leslie (Carol) Duncan and Toni Duncan; a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Pastor Max Lira officiating.

Interment will be on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
