To the Alfred/Vanpelt family,
Almost 6 years has passed and I know that you still miss Sandra, but my prayer for you now is that you understand better that God truly is a God of all comfort. I hope that the sadness is replaced with only happy memories! Hold on to the them!
Be Blessed,

To the family of Mrs. Alfred. I just found out today that this wonderful woman had gone home. I had the pleasure of calling her my neighbor for 2 years. My family and I are better for knowing her. Love and prayers, the Holland family.

Dear Harriett,
I just learned of your mom's passing. I would definitely have attended her home going service if I had known. She was a special person. My love and condolences during this time to you. Please keep in touch.

Mrs. Alfred was a soft spoken lady that wanted the best for her students. She was my English teacher at Tolleston School in 1970.She was a sharp dresser.I extend my sympathy and prayers to her daughter and family.

Dear Harriett and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. To have, to hold and then to part is the greatest sorrow of our heart. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Dear Harriett,
I am so sure that your mother is at peace with our Lord now. Over the years growing up in Concord she passed on many words of wisdom and lived her life in front of us as a perfect example of what Black womanhood was supposed to be. She always took the time to smile and talk to us as though we were important.
I know we have been out of contact since Hampton, but you and your mom were a big part of my formative years and I think of both of you from time to time. May prayers...

Dear Harriett,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. As I read her obituary I was so taken how she was indeed a wonderful mom over a very, very extended family. The loss of a parent at any age is indeed but you, too have a very, very extended family in the hundreds of students that you have influenced. I know these last few years were a challenge but now she is in God's hand and free at last from "...all the troubles of this world!" Let us rejoice and be glad...
