I know we have been close in all ways through this tremendous painful journey... there have been many ways to say goodbye sweet one.
The hardest one was on my way down the Interstate, and the call came that you passed on. We were at the California-Oregon Border. I got out of the car and fell to my knees crying in darkness.

"I wanted you to know
I love the way you laugh
I want to hold you high and steal your pain...

I worked with Sandy at Boulder City Police Department, until I left in 2000. I can say so many wonderful things about her, but what most stands out, is "everything she did was for her family." She doted on her daughters all the time.
I will miss you dear friend, I am glad your pain has been taken away. I am sorry for the loss to her family, friends and the Boulder City Police Department.

I was so very sorry to hear about Sandy. I grew up a few houses down from the Doellers and still have fond memories of our childhood on the tract. It seems not so long ago we were all playing steal the flag on Cavalier!! Would love to hear from you Sharlene.
