I worked with Sandy for many years at the O&E newspapers. I 'm very sorry to hear about your loss. She was a very dedicated journalist. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with your mom at the Observer for 30 years. She was the epitome of what a good writer should be. The one thing I will remember was the day she rode in a biplane. I had been offered the ride, but couldn't do it, so asked if she would like to do it. She didn't have to say anything. The smile on her face and the excitement in her voice said it all. To the Armbruster family, I offer my sincere condolences on Sandy's passing. She was an honest journalist and a tough -- but very fair -- editor to me with the Southfield Eccentric (1986-91). Sandy hired me and gave me the job of a lifetime. I owe her much gratitude. She will be missed and God bless you.

I only have memories of Sandra from a very long time ago. They are good memories. I hope they will be the same type for you and your's.
