To Sandy's family:
Sandy and I collaborated at Moraine Valley for several years to place international students in classes in my department. Although I retired in 2003, I corresponded with her in late 2006 after she learned that my sister had passed from ovarian cancer last summer. She was optimistic but realistic in the face of an unforgiving disease. I'm sure she passed with dignity. I am very sorry for your loss.

To Sandy's Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of a wonderful woman. Sandy was a garden club buddy and we often sat together and swapped stories about was was growing and what wasn't. She had a wonderful outlook on life, and really wicked sense of humor. We laughed a lot.
I pray she's laughing with the angels now.

I was a student aid at MVCC from 2001-2003 and had the privilege of working with Sandy. She was always so kind and nice to me. It brought tears to my eyes to read that Sandy had passed. Thank you for making me a better person. I know you've made an impact, not only on me, but on the many other students you counceled and taught. I will miss you dearly Sandy.

Sandra was a beautiful woman and one I considered a friend. I attended Transfiguration with her and was a member of the D.O.K. So sorry to hear of her passing. We live in North Carolina now and I'm sorry we can't attend the service. She will be in our prayers.
