I feel privileged to have met Sandy a few years ago when we shared an apartment in Chicago for the Columbia College AP Workshop. She has always been so positive and inspirational. Sandy, it is only now that I am beginning to feel the full weight of your death. While I try to accept your passing so soon before you time as the inerrant will of God, I struggle to understand what possible purpose it serves to deprive us of such a talented and compassionate soul.
