Sanda Camille Dixon, 77, passed away on September 9, 2025. She was born on May 15, 1948, in Gurdon, AR to Stewart and Marjorie Camp Byrd. Sandra was a teacher and taught Kindergarten for over forty years in the Mickey Mouse room. She loved playing board games and having random parties to bring family together. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.


Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margie Harrell and her husband, John, and Charlotte Hill and her husband, Jim. She was survived by her two sons, Keith Dixon and his wife, Kim and Wesley Dixon; four grandchildren, Carter Dixon, Cooper Dixon, Katlyn Nugent, and Hannah Nugent; and a host of family and friends.


A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home.
