What a beautifully written obituary! Sandy was a lovely person. I knew her only through working together for many years for the RAGS event, but delighted in knowing her as an amazing volunteer. I'd not seen Sandy in years, but funny, recently I had a thought of her. That smile was definitely a trademark!

Sandy was like a second mom for me, and a number of my peers who were friends to her children. She provided important support to many of us as we came to age into adulthood. I mourn her passing but celebrate her life, and feel blessed that I enjoyed a relationship with her throughout my life.

I know my parents, the Sleeps and your parents are having a great reunion.Sandy may be gone but she will never be forgotten.
