Sandi was a wonderful colleague and an incredible human being. The school of education and human development was a better to work because of efforts and sense of humor.

Sandi was a fine, motivating, practical professor of special education. She provided valuable mentorship for so many. Her lively sense of humor made it all fun. She was one of a kind.

A wonderful person and superb colleague at the UVA School of Education. She will be missed by all who knew her well.

So sorry to hear of Sandi´s passing. She worked diligently to maintain her health. Sandi was a majhongg partner and a good player. I remember her showing us the quilts she made for her grandchildren whom she adored. She was a good and caring person. Since condolences to Patrick and the family.
