Sandra S. Cole

It's been two years, but your mom's impact on my life, memories of times together and regular vivid dreams in which she is a major character don't stop. She was a big part of my life for a long time. I wish we had had more time for talking, laughing, problem solving, tea, wine, snacks, shopping, being friends.

I hope you, her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, are well and have peace and enthusiasm and success in the things that matter most to you.

I felt that Sandra and I were joined at the hip for many years, working in PM&R at the Medical Center. She was Professor and Director of the Program of Human Sexuality and I was her assistant. She was a hard worker, documenting that for reports by saying her effort had been 130%, never accepting a limit of 100%.

I will always think of feather plumes, flowers, abundance, fierce pride and love for her family, determination and tenacity, creativity, color. She was in many ways, larger...

Sandra was a great neighbor and professional colleague with me at the UM Neuroscience lecture series for medical students. Regretfully, I will not be able to come to the memorial celebration because I will be out of town. Ed Domino

I have been thinking of dear Sandra. She and I shared many stories and ideas as she shopped at my Ann Arbor business. Sandra loved beautiful arty clothes. I had not seen her in a few years. I am glad she was with her family. She spoke of them often, relaying when they came to visit, getting the house ready. She also shared Ted's passing with me. Sandra is memorable and I am glad that I knew her. Rest in peace.

My mom loved Ann Arbor and she loved her family and her work. She supported people and the arts because one's self-expression and validity is essential to life. I miss you, Mom!
